Leifsdottir, where have you been?

It wasn't until had to research some companies for my internship that I stumbled upon this Scandinavian designer brand that is a branch of Urban Outfitters, Inc.

I am so in love with Leifsdottir's sophisticated, yet youthful style.

Katie Scott's illustrations are the crossroads of human anatomy and the nature of the world.  These pieces are seemingly opaque, yet intriguing and aesthetically brilliant.  I love the shapes and hues she uses, along with the almost-but-not-quite-symmetrical placements of the objects in some of her works.

There is something really beautiful about Scott's juxtapositions.

Complementary to my extreme love for coffee & tea, is my love for MUGS.

I discovered these gems on both Anthropologie's & Etsy's websites.  I wish I could call them all part of my very own collection.  To me, mugs are a work of art, made for two very important things in my life and the lives of many: drinking coffee & tea!

I still can't believe that I have the opportunity to intern for this awesome movement!  Excited to really get started on Monday and hang out with the Bits crew some more.

Paper Crown

 Paper Crown is Lauren Conrad's collection "for those who like to play dress up in a grown up world."  I personally think that I will love playing dress up, no matter how old I get - especially in classy ensembles like these!  I love the simplistic, yet bold look of Conrad's line, and look forward to the debut of the Fall 2011 collection.

I have been dying for a tiered maxi dress just like this.

 Stores have been established in LA and NY, but it looks like there are good chances that more will be born.  Hey, Lauren maybe you should consider San Diego for your next location.
